This MUST not be allowed to happen. So that the bombing of Calgary may commence immediately if needed, Gordon Lightfoot's liver has been declared a weapon of mass destruction. This will ensure that the Stanley Cup will rest in its rightfull place: the United States, hoisted over the heads of our imported Canadians and Russians.

Ummm...hello..? The Stanley Cup is already IN Canada. I guess you didn't know that the sacred Cup resides in the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto for most of the year and we only loan it out for a few weeks every year for the victory celebrations. Oh, and I'm sorry, but the Stanley Cup going to a hick team in a city where they don't even have natural ice is a greater wrong than the hockey gods can live with, it's going to Calgary where they actually have ice and snow.

But this is SD.net and we do what we can to piss on all gods so what really should have happend is that the Coyotes should get the cup. I know they are eliminated (and they suck) but wouldn't it have been a better

to the hockey gods to have a crappy desert dwelling team that was stolen from Canada (Winnipeg) win the cup?
