Police raids 118 adresses in Sweden against pedofiles

All the fools are people that paid with a credit card on a pedofile site.

The police got hold on the card info and personal info from the server, and in a coordinated strike raided 118 homes today 20040525 in the morning hours.

So they are sick, and stupid.... thay should fit in real well in prision. Although i have heard that Swedish prisons are nicer than most African hotels.

Yes, they are. It's possible to recieve leaves where you can leave the prison for up to six days, this is possible even for criminals that have been convicted for serious crimes. Convicts that have recieved a life sentence *cough *cough usually get to leave the prison for long stretches of time near the release. Guess what, the guards in Sweden aren't called guards, but caretakers. The penalty isn't called penalty but care. However, this isn't the topic for this thread. This raid took place in several Nordic countries at the same time, not only here in Sweden. We must all be vigilant and report all child porn found on the Net. Those disgusting pedophiles aren't going to get away.

My thoughts exactly. I've never understood how pedos can be so utterly stupid. They could just as well have walked into a police station shouting: "I AM A PEDO! PLEASE ARREST ME!"

I don't think so, I'm near certain there have been international stings for this which had led to the arrest of several hundred people at once.

THREE!!! of them where COPS!

Two officers and one streetcop as far as I understood it.

Godamn I did hope we had smarter cops.

In Denmark a Supreme Court Judge was caught a few months ago.

I forgot. There was caught 43 people in Denmark in this raid.

In a similar raid in March in an operation called Mjölner 101 people were arrested. Including severeal police officers.

What's the distinction between the two? IS an office what we'd in the US call a detective and in plain cloths? Over in the US uniformed cops walking the beat and such are referred to as officers.
