It would if all those masked muslim drones weren't british citizens. Makes it look like he's getting through to some of us, and mixes up anti muslim/asian sentiment more.

It's about damn time Capt. Hook was charged with something. The stuff he gets away with saying in the street his mosque occupies is amazing.

NEW YORK - Abu Hamza al-Masri, the fiery Muslim cleric whose shuttered London mosque was linked to Zacarias Moussaoui and shoe bomber Richard Reid, was arrested Thursday in Britain, accused in a U.S. indictment of trying to establish a terrorist training camp in Oregon and providing aid to al-Qaida, officials said.

I agree that he and his miniscule bunch of idiot followers don’t do Muslims in Britain any favours but I think this is really just one of the risks you take when you live in a culture of rights. Hopefully the media will give the moderate majority of British Muslims who condemn him some coverage as well to redress the damage.

I’m just glad that this is a clear example of substance behind western rhetoric about human rights and we can point to this bastard and the due process he’s gone through to show that not all muslims we take a dislike to get sent to Guantanamo or Belmarsh.

I hope they send him to Guantanamo for "Five" and Fed agents can interrogate him.

Seriously this annoys me. We go to all this trouble to extradite him from
Britain and we can't execute him?'

Fuck this shit. I'm tired of the british refusing to extradite people if
they face the possibility of facing the death penalty.

Next time an American is killed by an bomb in england, I propose we
fight to extradite the fuckers reponsible, and see to it they take the
drip o' death, like Timmy did.

Relax Shep. I'm sure the prisioners in Leavenworth are very patriotic.

It'll be interesting to see on what basis any possible deportation wiull actually take place, if at all. One of the charges and one which has been touted as important, that of hostage taking Yemen, is completely irrelevant, because last time I checked, the US has no jurisdiction whatsoever over crimes committed in Yemen, especially when the criminal himself is not a US citizen.

Not to say that Hamza isn't a grade A fucker who needs to have a 2x4 with rusty nails sticking out of it applied to the back of his head with significant force, but there are several disturbing aspects about this extradition request.

My sentiments exactly. He is suspected for dodgy actvties in Oregon but thats all they can possibly extridite him for, and thats probably very arguable as to how valid that claim is.

I'm sure we can come up with some vaguely legal reason. Anything to get rid of him.
