I posted a message asking for help with a story idea that I am stuck on, but when looking through the Fanfics forum, I got the impression that that was only for completed fanfics. Therefore, could a moderator please move that thread here or wherever they think its suitable.

The fanfics forum is perfectly suitable for your query.
