Holy crap! You can call it "Liquid Crack" and it would sell like, well, crack.

Anyway, my question to all of you is (although you're also welcome to answer any of the rhetorical ones above), what will you never, ever try because you're convinced you wouldn't like it, and what would you love to try but haven't had a chance to yet? Would you take a 2-week vacation without booking ahead? Ride a rollercoaster that intimidates you? Go whitewater rafting? Run for mayor? Go back to college? Eat ground-up cicadas? Ask someone out even though you're shy? Travel to the ends of the earth with strangers? Walk a tightrope? Rob a bank?

What's the most extreme new thing you'd try? Where do you draw the line?
couldnt be illegal.

other then that. . . almost anything.

The coffee lets that idea down. One time we made red bull sorbet, that was interesting...

Hmm, I'd try alot of things, I do random shit whenever i feel like it, and even more random shit if noone can see me. Like dancing naked in thunderstorms and shash.

It's a thing you go to where you spend two or three hours meeting scores of people. I think you usually get 3 minutes with each person before the timer goes off for you to move to the next person. The theory is that, at the end of the night, you've met somewhere around fifty new potentials and gotten to know them well enough to know if you want to see more of them or not.

he true British response to that is "well, it's a laff, innit?"

Seriously, it just sounds liek a helluva lot of fun. And if you don't like nayone, you never have to see them again!

I can see how that idea could be appealing to one who lives in the city. I, however, live in the boonies and know just about everyone who lives within a hundred miles of me in any direction. I would run into each and every one of those people when I went to buy groceries or went to the gas station! No thank you!

I've been the kind of person who does try "new" things simply because I
convince myself I won't like them. It comes from fear I believe.

Anyway, here are some things I'd like to try:

1. Visit Australia
2. Heliskiing
3. Some form of multipartner sex.
4. Visit the UK
5. Ride a bobsled.

Things I don't think I will ever do:

1. Rim jobs ( I know I wont do this one.)
2. Bungie jumping
3. Having sex with a street walker.
4. Tropy hunting.

New locations are unknown quantities to me. I feel weird there, and get bitchy, until I leave...

Quantity is a quality all of its own. :P

Besides, not doing anything new usually gives me the opportunity to do my favorite thing in the world: being a killjoy.

Draw the line at anything harmful to others, or to myself for that matter, though that's a bit more flexible.
No drugs or really illegal stuff.
And I HATE eggplant and zucchini.

Other than that, well, I'm sixteen. I've got plenty of time to try stuff, so why not?

Is being a control freak something you like about yourself, or do you wish you didn't feel weird and bitchy when presented with a new situation?

Life's full of 'em, even if you try to avoid 'em, which is why I ask.

Um ok, I'll bite:

Stuff I wouldn't mind trying:
  • Getting a tattoo (seriously considering it)
  • Cocaine
  • Ecstasy
  • Skydiving (probably need to push me out of the plane)
  • White-water rafting
  • Going to Goth night at The Alliance (not sure they even still have that)
Stuff I have tried:
  • Pot (liked it & would do it again)
  • Burning my arm with a lighted match, just to see how much it would hurt (it's ok folks, I'm back on my medication now)
  • Dating a guy from OS who I met on the internet (in the long run, probably more painful than burning my arm with the match)
Stuff I would never try:
  • Getting my tongue pierced [shudder]
  • Heroin
  • Lesbian sex
  • A threesome
After all, this is completely straightforward. What could possibly go wrong?

THIS LOOKS LIKE A JOB FOR EMERGENCY PANTS!

I hate Matt Damon and there's not a damn thing you can do about it

No, I'm not on drugs. I'm like this all the time.

I'm weird, I admit it.
Some parts of me think it would be nice to be thrown into new situations, but other parts of me don't. So I'm stuck where I am...

I know myself well enough to know what i like and what not.
So experimenting is not an option.
And i still cant understand why people are adrenaline junkies? Doing things without a reason, which could result in a broken neck...

Done

- HALO jumping. more than once
- Combat drop (Automatic Para jump at 150m). more than once
- Tank driving (without licence... :) )
- Hanging from a Helicopter during flight (ok, it was training and
i had a parachute).
who said being in the army, means no fun?
- Bar brawl. more than once (i never started them).
- eating TNT

Pending

- Trip to HK
- Looking for a new GF
- Buying a car...used (THAT is adrenaline! :) )

Never

- Joining the reign...sex with men
- Hurting animals without a serious reason.
- Bungee jumping
