Now, how did they manage to do that? when surfaced, a 688-class submarine is pretty hard to climb on to from the water level, especially while it's moving.
Looks like I got some of my info wrong. It was a damaged British sub.

Still, you don't fucking go near a nuclear submarine without express authorization from the submarine's commander. The fucking Greenpeace idiots should've all been shot.

Thanks, that clears my confusion.

Ship all these people to, I dunno, Wisconsin, and then sew a little navy blue patch over one of the stars on the flag. We can do without Wisconsin, and we can CERTAINLY do without these foobeans. On second thought, give them a bit of coastline somewhere, so they can protest with their nonexistent military every time the US navy cruises past their ports. Observe them trying to blockade a sub with a line of canoes.

Wouldn't that sort of sense be applicable to any warship?

Besides, why the fuck are they whining about a goddamn submarine? It's not as if they do a lot of killing nowadays.

SSNs did fire TLAMs into Iraq during both Gulf Wars, and into Serbia during the '99 war...
