Ann Coulter on the O'Reily Factor

She's bizarrely far right to the point that you wonder if she isn't Hitler Youth, actually further right than Bush is.

I think she has more in common with General Pinochet than with Hitler.

But I do think in a way Coulter is the Michael Moore of the Right: More than anything, she's in it for the dough. Despite Limbaugh's other obvious similarities to Moore, he does not stack up to him in this one regard as well as Coulter does.

Michael Moore is probably the most sensationalistic of all the US political pundits, but he's nowhere as unintentionally hilarious as Coulter. (at least Moore doesn't make a living off delivering public death threats to people he doesn't agree with)

First of all, Michael Moore is more prankster than journalist or opinion writer. His shtick is mainly second-hand Candid Camera. I do think he's funny, though.

Ann "thrax" (as Media Whores Online calls her) is simply a lying, obnoxious, skinhead skank who has to sink lower and lower to get attention for herself and to out-Nazi run-of-the-mill mouthbreathers on hate radio.

Her latest fatwa was against Max Cleland, a former senator who got three of his limbs blown off in Vietnam when a grenade went off near him as he was getting out of a helicopter. He thought someone inside the chopper had dropped it and tried to pick it up when it went off. He won the Silver and Bronze stars for his courage in combat.

Back in 2002, Cleland's opponent (a draft-dodger who claims his knees were too injured to serve, yet thirty-five years later, jogs every day) in the election ran an ad in which Osama's face changed to Saddam's face and then switched to Cleland's face -the implication being that Cleland was in league with the first two.

What did the skinhead skank write about Cleland? She claimed that he was no hero and that he "dropped a grenade on himself". Since the Army didn't just give out Silver and Bronze Stars back then and he didn't drop any grenade, Coulter is bullshitting again. How can you tell she's lying? When her mouth is open.

And this individual is permitted to speak on national TV? She sounds like a hatemonger. That bullshit about the Bell Curve alone would probably get her in hot water up in Canada.

Because of the 1st Amendment and the fact that there is unfortunately a market for her. She, like Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh, fills a niche the the political talking heads market, one that sells to the "Would Vote For Bush if He Ate a Baby on Live TV, Cause Democrats Are Worse Than Babyeaters" crowd (which there are a distressing amount). Most people don't listen to her, some do. Fortunately, she's so far right that all she is good for is being angry on television and can't get anywhere where she could do real damage. I'm more worried about folks like Rick Santorum, who I'm just waiting for him to crack and start screaming on the senate floor about how we need to kill all the poor people before the Rapture happens and God sees them, but in the mean time is one of President Bush's chief attack dogs.
