That looked like such a cool game too. Geeze, and to think, Interplay used to be the "big guys", anyone remeber Star Trek 25th anniversary? Wonderful game, one of my all time favorites.

Isn't this going to affect any future releases of Fallout?

Fixed. IIRC, Fargo insisted that the old Starfleet Academy engine be reused for Klingon Academy, and this was the source of unending shit for the KA team.

Quite frankly, I think KA is a testament to the dedication and skill of the team that put it together, given some of the headaches they had to try and deal with.

I doubt it. Klingon Academy is one of the best Star Trek games.

Klingon Academy was the semi-interactive movie one with the klingon dictionary, right? I have that game somewhere, it was fun, but couldn't compare to 25th Anniversary or even Starfleet Academy, but then again, I like the ship combat :)

No, it was basically a Klingon version of Starfleet Academy.

One of their best games which had so much more potential and they dropped the support on it not long after it was released.

It wasn't the games fault though, I'm just citing that when KA came out is basically when Interplay started to dig its own grave.

They actually did that? Last I heard they were just talking about doing it and it's not like they have had any money to pay an external dev house to do anything.

*pisses on IP corpse*

They've became an incredibly shit publisher over the last few years, so I'm glad they're gone or at least on the verge of it.

I don't know, the job they've been doing lately by farming out jobs to companies that actually have their shit together has produced some kickass stuff.

They booted out nearly the entire dev staff just before Christmas. There are still a few there but Black Isle as we knew it is dead and gone. All the people responsible for Planescape: Torment, Fallout, and the rest are gone. A lot of them went to Obsidian Entertainment.

Interplay produced Descent.... I loved Descent.

No, this has no real point, but you guys have to admit Descent is a classic.
