For some years my dad had a PowerBook 170 (with VGA-out upgrade and something like 8MB of RAM). It was actually quite a nice laptop for its time and its display was clear, bright and crisp (despite being only four-level grayscale).

Well that's scary, I bought a similar laptop for $50 at a pawn one over here.

Bit newer one though, 100 mhz.
Think it is this one: http://www.apple-history.com/noframes/b ... del=5300cs

Hardly use it though, what with my new PowerBook G4 :D

Ah, a chunk of history. But I have to say, I think that $20 could have been better spent, like a nice 64mb pen drive.
