Bush: Corporotist Dixiecrat?
These are my definitions, I do not claim that they are the only or correct definitions! There. Enough butt-covering.
Corporatism - a form of government that Benito Mussolini used before switching to Facism. This government set up the entire country like a corporation. For instance: US Department of State would be the Corporation of State Matters or something. A "CEO" would run each "branch" and report to the head "CEO", that is, head of state. THe "CEO" of the State Corp would only be accountable to those above him/her. AFAIK, corporatism says nothing about whether leaders should be elected.
Dixiecrat: a person who, in the 60's, claimed that segregation was justified because it was a "state's choice" to create segregation. Nowadays, "Dixiecrats" have moved into the neocon camp.
Given Bush's record of staunchly defending all corporations from taxes or competition so long as they support him, is Bush a Dixecrat-Corporatist?
BTW: It is said that Republicans prefer a corporate style hierarchy where there is a person at the top.

No, he's not. I'm not even going to debate that bit of rambling stupidity you threw togather. Come back when you have a theory that even remotely resembles reality.

Proof that Bush is a segregationist is forthcoming, I'm sure. For Christ's sake, there's enough to attack the man on without making shit up.

Dixiecrats become neocons? How did this guy come to that conclusion?
"Right now we can tell you a report was filed by the family of a 12 year old boy yesterday afternoon alleging Mr. Michael Jackson of criminal activity. A search warrant has been filed and that search is currently taking place. Mr. Jackson has not been charged with any crime. We cannot specifically address the content of the police report as it is confidential information at the present time, however, we can confirm that Mr. Jackson forced the boy to listen to the Howard Stern show and watch the movie Private Parts over and over again."

He might have been coming at this from the similar segregation/seperate but equal bullshit that Bush and so many others are pushing with regards to gay rights.

Also, weren't the Dixiecrats formed in 1948, not the 1960s?

Actually, he's on to something. There's an excellent book by Michael Lind: Made In Texas that covers a lot of the same ground.
The modern GOP is a combination of the worst parts of crony capitalism (or corporate socialism, if you prefer), social darwinism, Dixiecrat race-baiting, and Paraguay-style militarism and despotism.
Whether Dubya himself is a racist or segregationist is a red herring. He owes his "election" to the fact that many thousands of black voters in Florida were illegally prevented from voting. He (and other Republicans)also made it a point to make a pilgrimmage to Bob Jones University, a white supremacist diploma mill. Overt and covert race-baiting (and Jew-baiting and gay-baiting) are an important part of his campaign this year -just as they were four years ago.

Of course he does: His attempt to introduce a Constitutional ammendment banning gay marriage (thus making it impossible for individual states to legalize it even if they wanted to) is ample proof of that...Plekhanov wrote:Doesn’t Bush oppose the “state choice” on the issue of Gay marriage?

Well, um, Bush is obviously bigoted, and he does have a hard-on for corporations, I would say that this assessment is not too far off the mark.
