Copying stuff form the uni network

If i were to copy the MS Office file form the uni network onto a CD would i then be able to copy it onto my PC and use Office?

If it's a copy of the cd on the network, Yes

If you are asking about an installed office then NO

Your at uni, MS chucks their software like candy at students.

Go ask come uni official if they have a deal with MS (almost every university does) and what type of conditions it has. Then grab free or near free software

Most schools have a cadre of people who host servers chock full of illegal software. Talk to nerdy guys in linux t-shirts, you'll find your illegal copy of Office sooner or later.
