Superpower problem

Post by The Dark »

I'm running Superpower on Windows ME, and it has a tendency to crash to desktop without warning when I switch among the various reports. Is there a patch I'm missing (I'm running a straight-out-of-the-box version), or is the game just wonky that way?

Windows ME? ick. . .the most unstable operating system out of the batch. Upgrade to a better OS is my advice. XP probably won't have the same problem.

I'll probably be replacing the computer in a year or two, but I've had no problems with it in three and a half years. That's the only program that's ever given me trouble, other than the fact that I have too little RAM (programs run, but laggy).

Is the game itself fairly new? it may not be entirely compatible with windows ME.

Nada. From 2002, says explicitly on the disk "Windows 98/ME/XP". I've got triple the RAM it requires, a much better processor, and a video card that easily meets the requirements.
