Help with Basilisk II

Post by HemlockGrey »

I recently dled this program in an effort to try to get EV:O to work on my Gateway.

Anyway, so i install the program, and then click on the Basilisk exe icon. Some sort of CD error. I click through it. Nothing. I go into the GUI and disable the CD options; reboot, still - same error. There's also something about a ROM error that I get both times, too.

So, I think, maybe, it's running and I don't know it. I go to open the EV:O file that I dled earlier(it's labeled '.bin). No luck. Google gives me no aid and the Basilisk homepage is about as comprehensible as cuniform.

Help? Plz?

You need a ROM file to run it. Get it, select the computer ID (I usually set it as a Mac Quadro 950) and make sure Basilisk II is configured to use that ROM file.
