Jedi age?

Post by Lord Revan »

how old these jedi (and sith) are?
  • Obi-wan Kenobi (during TPM)
  • Obi-wan Kenobi (during ANH)
  • Palpatine (during ROTJ)
  • Bastilla (in KOTOR)
  • Darth Revan (in KOTOR)
  • Darth Malak (in KOTOR)
What do you think?

In the cases of Kenobi and Palpatine, we know exactly how old they are, because we have their official years of birth, or know how old they were during certain events.

Palpatine was officially 50 years old during TPM, and born 82 years before the Battle of Yavin. So he would have been 86 during RotJ (4 years ABY). It's possible that he could have been older, but that's at least his publically known age.

Kenobi was born 57 years before the Battle of Yavin, so he would have been 25 during TPM (32 years BBY) and 57 during ANH.

Bastilla appears to be late 20s, with Malak I have no idea, and with Revan it can't be defined until the developers decide exactly what Revan is (perhaps in a tie-in novel?).

EDIT: SPOILERS: in one scene where Canderous is talking, the subtitles say Revan, but Canderous says "he." This happens twice (during the part where he's talking about the Mandalores being defeated) This might be a technical error, or it might not

Bastilla (in KOTOR): 20's(remember her mother mentions a time she's last seen her at a bout 10-11 years...she left to the order at 10)
Darth Revan (in KOTOR): 30-33(Bastilla knows of him and Juhani met him and trained within the same time as Bastilla)
Darth Malak (in KOTOR): 30+

I've heard many times how Palpatine was "aged" because of the Dark Side between TPM and AotC, but I find it's an unnecessary explanation for some guy that seems to age normally between 50 and nearly 60 years old (58 right?).
