If freedom means being forced to take expensive medications, yes.
Again, this doesn't sound like it's forcing people to take meds. But rather offering the screening and meds through federal programs.

And if we can offer grandma and grandpa a few tens of billions of pills every year, why not share the pharmacopia?

The obvious question at this point is who's going to screen Bush and his puppeteers for signs of mental illness?

Dammit, you beat me to it!

The first thing I thought was "Oh great, the Freedom Initiative. Ministries of Peace and Love, here we come."

Then I remembered that I can no longer tell what's real and what's a parody with this administration.

Drug up the population so they can't rebel against you.

Emphasis mine.
Nice to know what the real concern here is.

(damnit. This is, obviously, how that last post was supposed to look. Anyone feels like deleting it, that's fine.)

Well, it would be interesting to get a screening. I mean, since I act quite differently from most of the people around me (I'm not stoopid, loudmouthed, bigoted, ignorant, and easily led), there must be something very wrong with me...something that requires lots and lots of drugs to cure.

My grandparents were smart and dont rely on such things. In fact, they invested, and manage to keep their youngest son at home paying expenses. :P

We should not share the pharmacopia, because these medications are ot necessary, and because to pay for this would require taking MY hard earned money, and giving it to someone else. Under non-governmental circumstances this is called theft.

Somebody remind me: which one is the party of smaller government again?

Ha ha, trick question! Neither party wants smaller government because smaller government means politicians are less powerful!

Why? You would be to emotionless to really care, and besides the movie hints that clerics are trained from a very young age. Good movie though.
