What do people think of this idea? I saw something like it on another board. It's a thread which contains links to old threads which discuss certain popular and recurrent subjects (such as Bowling for Columbine etc.), so that people won't have to search for them every time they come up or they need to point n00bs to them. It would be a list of links to old threads with a brief description.
We could do the same thing in some of the other forums, such as the sci-fi forums where certain subjects are as persistent and recurrent as herpes.

Sounds like a decent idea, but what'll be the policy on posting to the old threads? Will they be for informational purposes only and be locked, or will new replies be allowed?
