Hazard team vs. ISD crew
Lets asume that an ISD is badly disabled that the hazard team from Enterprise-E (from ST:EF2) could get in. their goal is capture the ISD or if is not possible get as much data as possible and get out.
Hazard team forces
Lt Alexander Munro (team leader, human tactical officer)
Ensign Telsia Murphy (2nd in command, human tactical officer)
Ensign Austin Chang (human engneering officer)
Ensign Chell (bolian engneering officer)
Ensign Juliet Jurot (betazoid medic)
Ensign Korban(klingon tactical officer)
all will carry a phaser rifle, a hand phaser and a tricoder.
they also have the special hazard suits.
The hazard team has better tactocal training then regural federation redshirt maybe as good as MACO. also the hazard team uniform can take low power phaser hit.
Will they complete the mission?

Look, even the Spartans (from Halo) with SW weapons couldn't do this. The ISD is to damned big and has to many crew and infantry on board to make an attack. You would need a bare minimum of something in the Batallion range of special forces to make such an attack reasonably sucessful.

If it is possible for the transporters to identify and beam the Hazard Team to the bridge, they might be able to take out the bridge crew and hold the fort until they retrieve the data.
Otherwise, they lose, for the reasons Alyeska mentioned.

Is it Phaser/Sonic resistance?Hazard team forces

Can it survive Vacume?
How about turning up the gravity to multiple gees and holding them on the Deckplates?
Can the burn through the hundreds of blaster doors throughout the ship before they run out of "ammo" and or/die of natural causes?

The full hazzard suits are entirely self contained and work in the vacume of space. The suits themselves can sustain moderate fire from energy weapons similar in power to the phaser.Mr Bean wrote:Is it Phaser/Sonic resistance?Hazard team forces

The bridge would be an extremely bad place to extract data - if word got out to the TL gunners that the bridge had been captured, they could just point their TLs at the bridge and blow it off the ship (assuming they had power, the OP doesn't make this clear).LadyTevar wrote:If it is possible for the transporters to identify and beam the Hazard Team to the bridge, they might be able to take out the bridge crew and hold the fort until they retrieve the data.

Even if the TLs were offline, it'd quickly become a chokepoint, as a wall of stormies would quickly assemble by the exit and mow the hazard team down.

Your OP said the Special Hazard Suits. Seeing as there are two types and you didn't just say Hazard Suits, I assumed you meant they will use the self contained suits.Lord Revan wrote:the E-E hazard need breast plate and helmet from a spacesuit to be self containdedAlyeska wrote:The full hazzard suits are entirely self contained and work in the vacume of space. Assuming they appear on the bridge and somehow take out all the storimes
Turret on Dorsal Side swivles around and pops the bridge window while they simulatiously lock the blast doors from the backup bridge
Hazard team gets sucked into space
Or they get mowed down, Or the folks on the backup bridge assuming they follow sop for fighting off this kind of attack is simply to lock out the bridge and/or simply turn off the main computer
No power no data tap possible

only one type was ever used in Enterprise and by special I meant that they are not standard starfleet uniform. I think you're correct that they would use self contained suitsAlyeska wrote:Your OP said the Special Hazard Suits. Star Destroyers are highly decentralized. A high-ranking officer with access codes (ie: code cylinders) could probably lock out access to the bridge consoles from a secondary command location.LadyTevar wrote:If it is possible for the transporters to identify and beam the Hazard Team to the bridge, they might be able to take out the bridge crew and hold the fort until they retrieve the data.
Then there's also the question if the transporters can even get them into the bridge, what with jamming and such.

There's not even 1000 shots from each person on the EF team. Half of the weapons are dependant on shared power cells.evilcat4000 wrote:The Hazard team loses due to being highly outnumbered. ISD's have around 37500 crew members and 10000 stormtroopers. That is not counting any battledroids they have onboard.

Nope, Type I's are.The Nomad wrote:Wait wait, aren't Type II phasers self-regenerating ?
Lovely little light show on the ISD.

Incorrect. As of EF1 and EF2 the Type-2 phaser is self regenerating.Gandalf wrote:Nope, Type I's are.The Nomad wrote:Wait wait, aren't Type II phasers self-regenerating ?

also all weapons can be recharged if a right kind of power source can be found. the Suit was build to use many alien power sources to recharge weapons and to use the suits internal medical devices.Alyeska wrote:As of EF2 each weapon has its own power source.Gandalf wrote:There's not even 1000 shots from each person on the EF team.
