Does anyone else have the Droidworld tape/record?
As a kid, my parents bought me a tape player and boxed set of tapes with small books that included the three OT movies, a side adventure called "Ewoks join the Fight" IIRC, two tapes with two original stories, "DroidWorld" and another one whose title I can't recall. "ET" and the "Black Stallion" was also included. The movies were each condensed on a single tape with a follow along book. "DroidWorld" was about a space station run entirely by droids, and Luke winds up dropping 3PO and Artoo off on for the purpose of getting the station to join the Rebellioin IIRC. The other story was about Rebels trying to establish a base on a jungle type planet and to make a long story short, there were intelligent critters and everyone became friends after an intial misunderstaning. Sorry for the rambling, but I saw "DroidWorld" and "Ewoks JTF" on records in a local comic store and it jogged my memory. I think I have may tapes somewhere. Just wanted to see if anybody else had seen these stories.
Ah yes, I had them as a child and I recently found my old records and listened to them for some nostalgia (the books are lost).
Ah the tragic story of Clixon (sp?) and ZX-3!
Got a lot of use out of my mini-record player as a kid (can't find that thing either), had Return of the Jedi and tons of other records (found a few of them stashed on a shelf in my old house, some of the Disney ones were warped beyond usable condition, but many were still quite clear).
