The Afganistan conflict is justifiable. But the Iraq war is illegal. It was not supported by the UN or the international community. The soldiers sent there will lose their lives for a flimsy cause.

Its called the IRR, and if you sign the contract and take the oath it goes with the territory. I knew pleanty of IRR's that got called up in 91.

Its part of being a soldier - you don't get to pick the wars you fight.

That's wonderful. I may get the "Opportunity" To fight a war I don't believe in for a president I don't support against a people who aren't known, using weapons designed to fight the wrong type of battle, in a place I never wanted to go, for an islamic country which will thouroughly fuck itself up in 5 years, for 1/2 the pay I get now?! AND I MIGHT GET TO DIE WHILE NOT DEFENDING MY COUNTRY?! WHERE DO I SIGN THE FUCK UP?! Fuckers better not send me to that shithole. The impression I got was that they're callling back people with specific MOS's that are in demand over there, such as MP's, medical personnel, or civil affairs types.

Were you an MP or medical type?
