I'm using Win2k and for some reason my quicklaunch toolbar dissappeared and when I left click and try to put one back, it says "Cannont creat toolbar"

Ok, what exactly have you done to the machine in the last 48 hours? (be specific and don't leave anything out no matter how insignifigant you think it is) Has anyone else used this machine during this time? What type of account do you have? (admin, power user, erc...)

Can you access the following folder:

C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR ACCOUNT NAME HERE\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch

If not, then that may be your problem.

I think I know what I did, I think I blew it up with Hijack This, any idea how to restore it, I have a habit of deleting HJT backups, but I have two left, don't know what they are for though.
