children imprisoned and abused in iraq?

German TV reported on children being imprisoned by coalition forces. Apparently the ICRC knows 107 children being held under unknown circumstances in coalition prisons and camps.
A military intelligence NCO said he knows of children being used to force information from their parents; another witness (a former inmate) reports having seen a 12yo girl being beaten in her cell by soldiers. He also reports having seen a camp specially for children.
In May, NBC had reported on children being raped (I only found FOX as a secondary source):

NBC reported last week that unreleased videotapes, apparently shot by U.S. personnel, showed Iraqi guards at Baghdad's Abu Ghraib prison (search) raping young boys. British newspapers have reported that children were tortured under interrogation.

Personnaz said UNICEF so far has no independent confirmation of the reports but has decided to speak out nevertheless.

The UK Ministry of Defence denied having children prisoners, the US DoD declined to comment on this.
