Female Mandalorians

Post by Lord Revan »

First do they even exist or are the mandalorians male only organization. Also what would female mandalorian be like (warriors like the male or housewives) and if there female mandalorian warrior could you tell them apart in a battlefield (in full armor that is).

What do you think?

Mandalorians are a race, so I'd assume there are females. :P

A race like the blacks or a race like the klingons in ST. Also what's your opinion on rest what I did ask?

More like the first type, but not exactly. Mandalorians are just a division of humans that have a specific name, like Alderaanians, Corellians, and such.

According to the literature, Jango Fett was a Mandalorian by birth, but was recruited into the Supercommandos after he was orphaned and taken in by Jaster Mereel.

I have no opinion regarding the other question in the OP, because I haven't read anything about it anywhere.

Thanks. So they are truly called Supercommandos and it was not a case of shitty translation.

I've seen a couple artists renditions of a female Mandalorian. The chest plate sticks out a bit more and they look smaller than the males(judging by the jetpack size).

Of course... that's not canon at all, being just a couple fanboy drawings, but I'd thought I'd mention it...
Jedi Academy. Play an initiate that already has a lightsaber, goes through a 20 minute crash course before taking on over a hundred Sith cultists and only goes back to the academy for cutscenes. Oh yeah... THAT'S realistic.

Marvel Comics 68-69, Fenn Shysa's gang. Males seem to be more numerous as warriors.. and only a couple of all the mandalorians had the armor, both male. It's a long time since I read it, so don't expect a lot of details.
Star Trek vs. Star Wars, Extralife style.
