Thank You. On a 4 star scale, what would you rate the book?
The story sounds like it has potential, but if done wrong, it could be
a disaster.

The whole Thrawn trilogy is top-notch...start at Heir to the Empire, then Dark Force Rising, then The Last Command. Best SW books around.

While Heir to the Empire and Dark Force Rising are very good, I found The Last Command to be a mixed bag. One thing that is lacking in the Zahn trilogy is the Star Wars humour, but overall it's really good. I rate the Zahn trilogy 3,5 stars out of four.

The Thrawn Trilogy are the three best SW books out there....except for the Hand of Thrawn Duology, I suppose.
