Agreed, except that this highlights his hypocrisy in a different area, namely that of his longstanding claims about how people should run webboards. The scrolling list on the RSA page highlights his hypocrisy about using personal attacks, so it's a different subject. Same mental defect on his part (of course), but there is a distinction.

Robert Scott Anderson's pro-Trek propaganda site, and the source of the term "Warsie fanatics" and other far more colorful metaphors to refer to anyone who disagrees with his views. Basically, to make his site, you take a handful of the best possible parts and interpretations of Star Trek facts, ignore a truckload of material from the Star Wars Expanded Universe, and take any of the worst possible interpretations of the worst parts of Star Wars. Shake it all together, and serve flaming.

However, the site is useful, as a source of many of the pro-Trek myths you'll likely hear, even after they have been debunked time and again. This is also one of the main holdouts of the anti-Wars myths such as "The Superlaser Effect", and so on. It is strange . . . RSA is ardently anti-Wong, yet is willing to use many of the same tactics and maneuvers of intellectual dishonesty he constantly accuses me of using, which is a very unusual combination. Take a look at his main page to see the some of the character-attacking, spin-doctoring depths to which RSA will go.

There's also a discussion board on the site, interesting insofar as seeing how a petulant child ran one. Undesirables or trolls (or any other Andersonian synonym for reasonable debaters) gets signatures edited, personal information altered, and/or get their posts get deleted--meaning he is finally doing openly to pro-Wars debater posts what he previously complained about them doing to him (without proof). He locked his board in response to an "invasion," and after discovering that he had a bare handful of supporters. It's basically the same pro-Trek circle-jerk one would expect but with even less scruples and more hypocrisy.

An interesting recent note was the way in which Anderson handled his recent "difficulties" with SD.net posters. The "hate triangle" they formed eventually got someone angry, his board was locked down, and he was forced to explain his actions. It's an interesting read . . . check out page debriefing to see how he created most of his own problems through mis-management and a lack of foresight. In short, he created almost every one of his own problems. So much for integrity.

Step Three: Click the phpBB option on the left.
Step Four: Give a directory name, and click install.

All of which, of course, completely dodges the fact that he couldn't have gotten the software for the board any time within the past two months or more.

just curious...am I the only person who's sick of discussing RSA's stupidity? Or have others of you come to your senses too?
I know that I kind of 'beat my chest' but I have decided to stop grandstanding and trying to gain popularity.

Um, maybe I suppose. To all those who did say it was SD.Net members that "flooded" or "trolled" or otherwise caused problems...would you like to post some links? Maybe back it up? Aside from the occassional "slip" and half-flame, I never saw anything warranting any heavy duty administrative action...much less putting the blame on their shoulders for the board's closing!

I created a board and i shut it down,it wasn't popular cause nobody registered.

I only noticed the exsistence of the Darkstar board after he had already locked it.

I had hoped to be one more nail in the coffin so to speak. Since I rarely, if ever, use insults i fugured that I could possibly start one of my Junkyard War or Robot Wars matches there. Seeing how he even found those threads to be 'biased' it might not have done much good. Then again throwing out the EU does not do much to styrengthen his position as it make no debate on how big the Executer is. It only does one thing really, that is make thespeed of hyperdrive more ambiguous.

My thoughts are that Darkstar, or whatever his call name is now, is not a debator but a massive stone wall that has collapsed into a pile of immovable rubble. We can 'swing' at it as much as we want but the broken pile will never move. HE limits SW side yet make the pretended notion that his own speculated theories are totally valid (The Superlaser myth of his)

Well...looking back to the whole episode, he seems to be embaressed by it, and tries to burry it as fast as possible. After his "explanation" for the failure of the board, he is back with his usual stuff. And of course his newest article claims that the ICS is non-canon....
