Moore has referred to the terrorists in iraq as freedom fighters, and
that they're part of the revolution, or some bullshit.

Yes Shep that's equivalent to calling for the execution of your own countrymen because they have a different political outlook as you do.

Oh... Guess I misread. Thats what I get for staying up to 4 AM yesterday playing MoO2 (shit, why the hell is that game so addictive?),while still getting up at my usual time (for the vacation, that is) of 7:30.

Of course it's not on the same level, but it's still insane: I mean, he's talking about a resistance group who deliberately blow up their own people. IIRC, 3 out of 4 people the insurgants have killed thus far are Iraqi civilians...

Of those three, she's the only one, to my knowledge, who's actually claimed that liberals are worse than terrorists.

Reminds me of when those idiots were trying to get Reagan on the $10 bill right after he died. Lewis Black on The Daily Show ran a clip of the head of the organization justifying such a move because "Hamilton is the only non-president on paper currency anyway."

Black comes back and says, "Really? I'll bet you $100 that he's not!"

I wouldn't have a problem putting Reagan on a form of currency, but I really don't think he should replace Hamilton or many of the others who currently grace our money. Maybe he could replace Sacagawea, or someone crappy like that.

Who is this Mike Savage? I have never heard of him.

But if he is even more unintentionally hilarious than Ann Coulter, then he must be quite the weirdo.

He's a radio pundit in the Bay Area--I'm not sure how famous he is, or even how large his broadcast range is. Anyway, he runs a show called "Savage Nation," with Michael Savage.
But if he is even more unintentionally hilarious than Ann Coulter, then he must be quite the weirdo.
He is. The guy is NUTS. His show is always good for a laugh, but I can only take about 5-10 minutes of it before I realize that he's serious and get depressed. But it's worth it--some of his statements are priceless:

"I don't know what the hell kind of a superpower people think we are, but once you have the ability to defeat any other country in the world, you ought to use that power every once in a while just to keep people on their toes."

That's the only one I'm clearly remembering, right now. I think it was from a few months ago.

This is a statement which got Mike Savage in trouble:

He told a gay young man "You should get AIDS and die, you pig."

Coulter, in my opinion, is MUCH worst than Moore in terms of mindboggling stupidity, although neither holds a candle to Savage in his worst attacks.

I respect Carville. Sure, he's slimy, but find me a pundit that isn't. The difference is that he blends wit and wisdom into his slime. Hi's wife's not so bad either.

As someone else mentioned, he has a radio show. He also has (had?) a TV show and he has written (if it can be called "writing") at least two books.

IIRC, he thinks that Bush and the rest of the Republicans are all leftists. Which should give you an idea of his political views.

His favorite phrase for liberals are that they are all "Red Diaper Doper Babies" (a prase which means that they are drug-users who were taught communism since infancy). Which should give you an idea the maturity level of the show.

Question for the group: which clearly conservative pundit and which clearly liberal pundit do you consider least offensive?

I think they'll just vote for the one which they agree with the most.
