Lets see, had a cat from '86 to earlier this year (put down due to old age and many medical problems). Had a duck for a few years. Had a budgie for quite a few years. At one point we had them all together under the one roof. And the one that came off worst was the cat. Which became the ducks bitch... Until the duck moved away
1 cat, Russian Blue, purebred but has a white "bikini" top and bottom on her belly. 20 lbs, nearly 2 ft long not counting tail, named Shadow.
Her busy and hectic day is spent looking out the window at squirrels and cars, eating, pissing, shitting, and sleeping. After a hard day spent doing all that, she sleeps in bed with us.
Oh, and her purring is loud enough to hear in the next room.

I used to have a red-eared slider when I was living in Mexico. I didn't take it with me and it died shortly afterward. I love those turtles. Now, I just have a fish.Alyrium Denryle wrote:1. Red eared slider(aquatic turtle trachemys scripta elegans) named Octavian

These two are such big babies when it comes to me and my family, but I pity the person that tries to harm any one of us, because they will not survive the attempt. They are VERY protective.

That's one of the best things about dogs. They're pack animals and alpha or omega, they will protect the pack.
