Sim City 4 Question -- Education

Post by TrailerParkJawa »

I dusted off my copy of Sim City 4 and have been having fun this weekend.
I have a question though, does anyone here know what EQ level is roughly equivelent to a high school diploma?

Sorry, don't know, but you will probably have more luck if you look at Simtropolis, which I find has some good resources on their forums.

I don't think it works that way - EQ goes up the longer sims have educational facilities, although it tapers off somewhere.

200, the 'top', would be the equivalent of everyone having 4-year degrees or more, i guess.

With elementary schools only, you can have an EQ of around 80-100.

That's about what I know.

Maybe Simtropolis would help - it is a good site. Other possibilities:

http://simcity.ea.com/ - the home page
http://www.sc4ever.com/ - another good one, although honestly the 3000 page ( http://www.sc3000.com/ ) was/is better.

IIRC, an EQ of 80 is considered "average"
