Why is Leia such a bitch in ANH?

I always thought that Jabba thought of Leia as more of a trophy than a possible sex slave. The guy's not even humanoid, it's highly unlikely he even had the needed equipment to rape her. I suppose he would've rented her out to someone, but he didn't have her for very long. As for the whole experience humilating her, well, yeah, maybe a little, but it was all part of the plan, after all.

You seem to have skipped over the last part of the article, where it says the scene was from the third draft and not present in the shooting script:

The torture scene Carrie Fisher remembers reading about WAS NOT FILMED. That scene is part of the 3rd Draft by Lucas. She hangs upside down with yellow eyes, and Chewbacca must carry her for about 10 scenes onwards. Of course, this scene is NOT in the shooting script, the 4th Draft.

That's why the article is in the "Trash Compactor" category of T'bone's Cut Scene section: it's a rumor that's been proven false.
