It's exactly the same as anti-abortion extremists. They view their targets as murderers, and they view themselves as saviours of life by keeping these murderers from committing any more murders.

They arent fronts for extremists, they are extremeists. SHAC has hounded the board of directors at Huntigton that IIRC they left the UK, and are still being attacked, physically.

Three months ago, he told a US television audience that violence was a 'morally justifiable solution'. Earlier this month, he gave a speech in Virginia in which he said: 'It won't ruin our movement if someone gets killed in an animal rights action. It's going to happen sooner or later.'

Inciting violence, have him arrested and if needed extradited to the US.

I refuse to be killed at work, because these shallow, selfish, and yes, evil fuckhead decides that the life of a god damn mouse is worth more than mine.

And of course, whle they are obviously terrorist groups, noone does anything because animal rights 'activisom'*cough terrorism*cough* is a fucking PC haven for sheep fucking hippies and vegan veggienazi people haters.

Just a bit of a nitpick with the title of the thread these guys aren’t Greens (as in members of the Green Party) who often aren't really that fused about vivisection or even really animal rights activists, they are animal rights extremists and terrorists and should be differentiated from other movements which share their some of their aims but who are fundamentally opposed to violence, intimidation and murder.

I'm normally against these types of idiots, but the other day I came across a picture of a pile of decapitated greyhounds, who'd been killed in medical labs. I have three greyhounds, and after viewing some of the other pics of what medical labs have done to the dogs, I can't say I'd be sorry to see the people who did it ending up on the receiving end of a bullet.

I'm sorry, but that is fucking dumb. You don't even know if those dogs were perhaps, possibly, dead when they were decapacitated or not. Or how drugged up and senseless they may have been so they never felt any pain. Both of which are rather strong options. And even then, you don't know what they were working on--like I said, what if they died in the process of work on curing HIV or Ebola?

Fuck, do you even have any prove the picture is real? If you saw it on the website of one of these radical groups like this, how do you know it isn't photoshopped? I mean, sheesh, if you're going around advocating murder, doctoring photos isn't exactly a big deal.

But, oh no, let's not think, shall we? Let's react emotionally and then proceed to compound emotion with stupidity by declaring that "I wouldn't feel sorry for them". Or, in otherwords, you wouldn't care if a living, thinking human being, quite possibly with a family or girlfriend, etc, was shot in cold blood, maybe dying slowly in the hospital in a coma or some other absolutely grusome fate (that you have no proof was inflicted upon the dogs), and declare that you don't care about that, just so some dogs can live.

Assuming, of course, that killing one scientist is going to make the scientific community stop. I don't seem to recall the execution of Leon Klinghoffer on the Achille Lauro bringing freedom to Palestine, or Daniel Pearl's head being chopped off causing the whole west to convert to Islam, for that matter, so why do you think this would do anything except garner outrage at the assasins and make research labs spend more money on security that they could be spending on beneficial research?

And all this to save some dogs--who's deaths might be absolutely vital to the development of a new drug that could improve the lives of millions or save the lives of just as many people, for all you know. So let's throw away that potential accomplishment so we can commit a murder which will probably have the exact opposite effect that is intended, and you're going to "not feel bad" about that? Idiot, that's what you are, a complete idiot.
