Oh, okay.Spanky The Dolphin wrote:That's just somebody's signature picture of Jar Jar photoshopped into the picture. It's not actually part of the DVD version, because there's another thread in that forum about that very scene, and no one says a single word about a Gungan being there.Master of Ossus wrote:WTF is the Gungan doing sitting next to Han with Greedo?

The general consensus over at MF is that the rip is most likely from a work in progress version of the film, due to the amount of inconsistancy in the work done on it.
I believe in a sign of Zeta.

General consensus changed: Seems to be the finished product now. Some things still not fixed or perfect, but overall the FX are still better than the ´97- and ´77/´80/´83-versions.The general consensus over at MF is that the rip is most likely from a work in progress version of the film, due to the amount of inconsistancy in the work done on it.
Luke-scream in ESB seems to be out.
Oh, thank CHRIST. I hated that stupid yelp as he falls. I hope they also cut the equally redundant scenes with Vader walking to his shuttle, and I hope they restore the cooler, meaner "Bring my shuttle" rather than the verbose "Alert my Stardestroyer to my arrival" or something.VT-16 wrote:Luke-scream in ESB seems to be out.
Oh so many things I hope they cut... otherwise known as 'restore to the original'.
There's something badass in his voice when he growls "Bring my shuttle." He also may not be thinking rationally - the last thing he saw was his son plunge to his apparent death.
"Alert my Stardestroyer to expect my arrival" or whatever the SE version is feels jarring and out-of-place. It also seems redundant, but I'm thinking more of the shuttle landing sequence than anything else.

Well, there was no shuttle in the original version. And if "Bring my shuttle" and a shot of him approaching the shuttle doesn't work, I'd vote for the shot to be removed, so "Bring my shuttle" can be kept in there.Stofsk wrote:There's something badass in his voice when he growls "Bring my shuttle." Plus as much as I like space & starship scenes in Star Wars, my opinion of those intercuts of the shuttle leaving Bespin and landing on the Executor really disrupt the flow of the Falcon / TIE fighter chase sequence.
But all this is moot anyways... *sigh* Bring on the DVDs.
I can respect your arguments, but I like the sad, somber tone of his voice there, and for the exact same reason: he´s just seen his son kill himself rather than come with him.
And it´s: "Alert my stardestroyer to prepare for my arrival..."
When he comes aboard, stormtroopers have gathered on display. Nothing like a military welcome to brighten your day...

During the Battle of Endor, in the shot where you see a Nebulon B exchanging a broadside with the brim trench of the Executor, if you look closely, there's a small corvette composited in front of the frigate. the way it's placed makes it look like it's less than 100 meters long.Demiurge wrote:Corvette before frigate mistake?
I kind of jokingly theorized that it's a light freighter / heavy fighter that just happens to look like a CEC CR90 on the outside.
And you may ask yourself, 'Where does that highway go to?'
