I've had a Darwin fish on my bumper for a while. A couple years ago, not long after putting it on, I come out of the store and find a little handwritten note stuck under my wiper blade. Expecting a nice "Go to Hell!" note, I open it up and it reads...

Darwin fish and Jesus fish really aren't that obnoxious. They're more like logos or flags than concrete statements. I find the ones with an actual statement more obnoxious, like the following (all examples I've actually seen):
IN CASE OF RAPTURE, THIS CAR WILL BE DRIVERLESS
CHOOSE LIFE (complete with a big photo of a fetus)
GOD IS MY COPILOT
the words "GAY MARRIAGE" with a big red X overlaid on them
ONE NATION UNDER GOD (in really big letters; I've only seen these in the US).
Etc. Compared to that shit, a Jesus fish is tastefully understated.
