New Robotech Series

Post by Currald »

The new Robotech series is to be titled Robotech - Shadow Force. It concerns the search for Admiral Hunter and the SDF-3 and is slated to be released in 2005. "A deadly new enemy threatens to test the limits of the Expeditionary Force's use of Shadow Technology."
Can't wait!

The search for Admiral Hunter? I hope it doesn't center around that traitor from the Invid Invasion series who said he was going to do just that.
Even if I would like to see him strung up once he found them..

Is this supposedly while Hunter and co were in 'NewSpace' after the Sentinals campaign?
They say, "the tree of liberty must be watered with the blood of tyrants and patriots." I suppose it never occurred to them that they are the tyrants, not the patriots. Those weapons are not being used to fight some kind of tyranny; they are bringing them to an event where people are getting together to talk. -Mike Wong

But as far as board culture in general, I do think that young male overaggression is a contributing factor to the general atmosphere of hostility. It's not SOS and the Mess throwing hand grenades all over the forum- Red

It's what I'm thinking.

Though probably this series won't be following the book on that thought.

I hope Macek is nowhere near this show. Not because he's a butcher, but he's even less capable of writing an original story.

The Sentinels sucked balls. I'm glad it was never completed.

It got corny at times but I've read far worse.

That's because Daley and Luceno adapted it. The cartoon would have been far worse.

I am definitely looking forward to this. At Otakon this weekend, they're going to announce new details about it. So...anyone going?

Over the last couple of years, there have been production sketches of a Gamma Fighter and a Synchro Cannon-armed Beta fighter released. Just to whet your appetites.

If they continue to use the Mospeada designs and variations thereof, I'll be happy.

Well, there's a picture on the robotech.com site of the Izumo from the end of Mospeada, so I imagine you will be happy.
