Spanish Justice

Post by Dargos »

Take a look at this film clip. Personaly I think the Spanish police did an outstanding job stopping this punk, but I have to wonder what the reaction would be if this happened in L.A. or some other US city. How fast would the local Police Department be slapped with a lawsuit?

Holy crap, that's fucking awesome. But I don't think there's any way cops could get away with that in America, especially if the guy in question was a minority.

one thing i have noticed about European justice: while they lack the death penalty, and prison terms are light, if you fuck with the police when committing a violent crime you'll usually die. painfully.

That was great. I can't believe the guy accepted a motorcycle, it's asking to get shot or run over.

A moment of silence for the motorbike.

Anywho, there's no way that police in the US would've gotten away with it, but they SHOULD be able to, if only for the comedic value of the resulting videos.

That's something for Wildest Police Chases. I can just imagine Paul Stantovich's (sp?) commentary: "This thug thought he would take the police for a ride. Little did he know that this ride--doesn't have seatbelts! Now he's head over heels in trouble, turning on the wheel--of justice!"

This is something US police officers could do legaly.

Police already shoot at tires while moving and try and bump the back of a speeding car to put it into a spin (many times causing it to roll over).

I say good for the Spanish Police. That was awesome! The criminal got what he deserved. Wish the police would be more like this in the U.S.
