Stormtrooper armor isn't really that impressive if you watch the movies. Maybe the EU makes it some kind of uber defense or something but i have never read any of the books and have only seen the movies and played games and the armor seems to be more for looks and intimidation than to be really effective.

Apart for fact that never seen any KE weapon hit the armor (ewok arrows did hit blck bodysuit under the armor). All other weapons were SW energy weapons.
I may be an idiot, but I'm a tolerated idiot

Provide examples of anything other than blaster bolts (very powerful, look at the burn marks on the Sandcrawler) damaging stormtrooper armor.

Ah also nice to see some retard moron who doesn't grasp that the MOVIES prove a fucking 8MJ weapon is what's ripping through the Stormtrooper armor, but instantly derives the thought.

"They don't look good enough" or the other wonderful bullshit retort "EU overdoes them."

And using games as evidence, damn you trying to capsize your argument?

Next time prove your pathetic assertions.

Since when did the DK books get reduced to "EU" level, exactly? AT the very minimum they treat them as virttually immune to SW personal projectile weapons (in terms of kinetic energy and momentum, one would reason) , which should automatically mean they will resist M-16 fire (as if that wasn't already obvious from canon and secondary examples.

Besides, as someone pointed out,its obvious stormtroopers survived having rocks tossed on their heads (Fairly large ones as well) (the momentum of which would be easily comparable to an M-16 round.)

In any case, they out-range AND outgun the modern forces to such a degree that they don't even have to get in their weapons range anyhow, even if we took your ludicrous suggestions to be true. And that's not even counting any ground vehicles and/or orbital support.

Thing is, the rocks bounced off the Stormtrooper's head like foam (hmm, I wonder how they did that scene? hehe), which makes it appear like a little impact, but if a rock that big hit you on the head, it would probably kill you or knock you out and scrape your head pretty bad.

All it did was make a stormie grunt and fall down (long enough for a thousand teddy bears to jump on them).
