I've resumed work on the Big Book of B&B, and have gotten through Chapter 2 (experience) so far. A Forgotten Realms supplement will follow.

If no one steps forward to take over Jack, then we should have a test session this weekend, just a really short, one-sitting micro campaign with characters that I'll provide, in order to playtest the B&B rules and see what needs fixing, if anything, and also to get everyone used to the fantasy setting.

Aw, shucks. You're just saying that. 8D
Gerard_Paloma wrote:Well, I'm certainly tempted, but that's an intimidating task. Seeing as how CorSec has done such a great job taking over Ernesto and Xak, I'd hate to be the one who fucks up Jack. I wouldn't be comfortable taking control of Jack without CorSec's blessing. Even then, he'll have complete veto power at any time if he feels like I'm shitting on Jack's personality.

So whaddya say, CorSec?
It's not that hard. Just take the scoundrel side of Han, mix in some smarmy from Lando add a dash of unlikeable from Greedo and you've got Jack. You've got my approval. :D

I think I can handle that.

I just got done with the cleanup of the chat log. It was really easy this time compared to the other two. Not a whole lot of reorganization required. Get it here.

No need now, since I can take over Jack on the odd weekends (not this weekend, though, obviously). Hope you have fun. I wouldn't at a reunion with my family, but hopefully your family isn't filled with alcoholics, fundies, and morons.

So are we going to have a game this Sat.? I'll be here, and Gerard can stand in for Jack.

I'm up to the beginning of Chapter 9 (inventory) in the Big Book of B&B. Only a little left to go. Not that hard, since most of the stuff is just copied and pasted from G&G. Link is here.

So we're having a session of the cyberpunk campaign on Saturday, then, right?

OK, well I'll just go ahead and assume we are. Time is 5 to 8 PM PST (subject to revision) on Sat., server "Better Games Public Server", room "Tensided", password "cyber", but then you already knew that :)

Hmm. Did everyone just assume there wouldn't be a game this weekend and not check the new messages in this thread? Because I'm in the room all by myself...

I'll give it 10 more minutes before giving up.

EDIT: OK, we'll just have the game next week.

Seeing as where you've had the last four posts in this thread over the past 3 days, I'd say that's a safe bet.

So what time next week, then?

Wow, this is fun talking to ourselves, isn't it Art? "Hey Art, how you doing?" "Not bad, Gerard. How come no one else is here?" "I dunno, maybe they're jerking off in a corner."

But seriously, you guys haven't lost interest already, have you? Cause I sure as hell haven't, and I know Art hasn't either. So can we play a game this weekend? Say, Saturday 1pm to 5pm? 6pm to 10pm? Or perhaps you prefer Sunday, noon to 4? We can't rightly play with ourselves. Well, we can, but in a different way. :D

Worked some more on the Big Book of B&B, and changed a couple things in both books. Namely, the costs for merits and flaws, and for taking them multiple times. I also made a character sheet template for B&B, although beware, it doesn't include any of the Forgotten Realms stuff I'm going to do.

OK, so game time, subject to revision, will be 1-4 PM this Saturday. I obviously can't guarantee that it will be a great session without psychic powers, but looking at my campaign plans and where it is headed, this next session should be tons of fun.

:wtf:

Welcome to the magical land of misunderstandings, ladies and germs!

What I think Art meant was that he has no way of knowing whether or not the next session will be great, as he does not possess psychic powers. This in no way implies that Xak will be stripped of his telepathy. You dumbass. :D
