BZZT, wrong. My vampires have various natural feats (TK, for one, which was amply demonstrated) which were specifically stated to be non-magical; rather, these abilities are manifested by sheer force of will. In other words, they are psionics.Beowulf wrote:As to Quantek, I don't think I've seen anyone using true TK in the game prior to this. There has been magic, but no TK. It seems more like your Quantek is an outgrowth of research into telepathy, that being the only thing you've mentioned as using. And again, IT'S NOT MAGIC!
In D&D, Psionics is the art of modifying reality by force of will and thus achieving supernatural effects. It is separate from magic and seems to be pretty much what your character does. It isn't exactly unknown in the D&D universe (a complete handbook for psionics is available), or the STGOD either. As I said, the vampires do it casually and constantly, and one of Alyrium's main characters was a psionicist.
