I am just reacting how any sane people would at even the slight possibility of vampires trying to send "humanitarian aid"

I am frankly amazed that they havnt benn stomped out by now. Being beings of pure evil and all...

And again, that transmission was not widely broadcast, sent to the Asgard, as it was a direct reply to their message. They wont hear it.

it would make sense that we would have some inkling as to the nature of Hajr intel.
Not really. You are a new power to space, with a nation that is by it's very nature poor at humint espionage. Hajr intelligence is extremely deep cover, and is the result of a decade spent slowly infiltrating. No one yet has any idea about Hajr intelligence methods with the exception, perhaps, of the Krell- and they haven't connected Ezekiel to the Hajr yet, just to some major corporations.
Well, this brings us to the problem of setting up a dummy corporation in my space without going to any effort to do so. Or if there was effort, I missed it.
It's not a dummy corporation, it really does manage a wide variety of industries across Known Space's core systems- only it is controlled by the Hajr, and some of it's subsidiaries run safe-houses and smuggle weapons to some of my allies (pirate groups, for instance, and perhaps the Tortugans in the future.)

Besides, while it has major offices in Nashtar, it's not a Nashtari corporation (though some of it's subsidiaries are.)

It's not undetectable, but unless you launch posted and significant intelligence operations, in a clever fashion, you won't uncover it. Alyrium sure as hell can't pull this out of his ass without any effort whatsoever.

meh' eddited it to "warry of spies" which is a ligit concern for us.

Though, you arent going to be able to poll "terrorist fanatics" out of your ass with this in thirdfain. Once Marcao get back I will be able to continue destroying their military, and then get into their underground(literally) bases.

The population will have it so much better once they arent owned, and they just may elect to be a part of our empire of their own free will.

I'm currently wondering which government is most like the Swiss in terms of banking protection... The Minmatar seem like a good canidate, given that the corrupt politicians would want to have some place to put their ill gotten gains.

That's all well and good, I'll point out that the last terrorists weren't "pulled out of my ass," but were rather a direct resulty of your own incompotent occupation efforts.

No, no, I have other uses for the Tortugans. Enjoy em when they come!

Probably not a good idea to bank with them at this particular moment.

Probably not... There seems to be a big anti-corruption drive going on right now...

Why yes, yes it is. At least where vampires are concerned. Most prejudices are not justified, but vampires are literally beings of darkness who survive by stealing the life of other sentient ceatures...

Funny you should mention this, so shortly after Pablo went into some rather nice detail concerning the use of synthetic blood for the Vampires.

I find it amusing that you wouldn't know something that would seem to be relatively common knowledge to anyone who has had relations with the Vampires, yet you knew about Hajr intel ops. ;)

Weird. Me and frigid wrote posts which were almost exact opposites. Well, I think we all know where this is going!

True, he could just has easily be discredited, bought off, or otherwise rendered powerless.

Dead actually makes him a maytar, so I imagine Thridfain will avoid that.
