The teachers grade their own tests and 'fudge' the results so the students do well(because the students doing well=pay raise/keeping their job)

She students dont actually do well, it just looks that way on paper.

Ah! The teachers grade the tests they hand out and cheat. Thats really fucked up. It makes me wonder though. Puts a new spin on why my geometry teacher would weight tests she didn't write.....

now you are getting it.

Though it has more to do with the standardized tests than anything. When AIMS came out(Arizona Instrument to Measue Standards) the students didnt do well etc etc etc, until now a trained chimp can pass it, and teachers grade their own just to make sure noone fails

The problem is, we have a test that s required to graduate(because politicians want to look like they are actually raising the quality of education. However the test is nothing more than a rubber stamp.
