Wow, that fellow is disturbed, else he's trying to make himself look the part. Interesting style of writing wherein he attempts to pass himself off as a high-ranking officer -- unfortunately appearing to be written by a teenager with little to no knowledge of the military writing style (in other words, a hardcore Trekkie).

One of the over a hundred moons in our solar system.
That's even worse than europe ;)
Oh yeah. Oops.
Then again, when one considers that the Federation has 150 member worlds, calling Europa a 'continent' might actually be a compliment. :D

Captain's Log, Stardate 54321:

I have been escorted yet again to the mess hall by Ensign Betty. Like all of the other ensigns, she still insists that she should be called 'nurse' as opposed to the standard Starfleet title. There must be some madness sweeping the ship. I shall be watchful.

Admiral Doctor Milroy has gathered some of the crewmen for me to address concerning our latest mission but has asked that I refrain from my briefing until I have finished the task he has currently given me. No matter how hard I try however, I do not see the importance of creating a picture of my family out of pasta noodles. He believes the fate of the galaxy may rest in it. Damn you maccaroni! Why won't you stick!

Captain's Log, Suplimental:

I have convinced the Admiral to allow me time to search the subspace data links and have uncovered information about a rival empire that may be of vital importance. I shall contact my superiors imediately...

Wow, good point. I hadn't noticed that.

I would have expected that kind of nut would be using Microsoft Windows XP, with all services running in the background, Internet Explorer, and Outlook Express ;)

Do you ever add anything constructive?

There are a lot of people out there into simming, and most of them just simply aren't very good. This chap strikes me as one of the people that go and open their own Fleet, give themselves a ridiculously high rank and a massive ship, and then wank with their other pseudo-intellectual buddies. They can't write well, can't stay in character, and miss the points of stories for tech-wanking, which looks exactly like this turkey's problem. Well, nothing a little maturity and some writing classes won't stomp out of him.

I apologize for the me-too previous post of mine in this thread.

A part of me finds it unlikely he is serious. My instinct is to think he's playing some stupid joke before thinking he is seriously troubled.

Just out of interest has this guy sent anything new? Or did he just send this one, slightly odd, e-mail.
