I timed it so it will arrive at my house in Chicago right after I get there. So tomorrow it will be mine.

I'll be damned, my copy just arrived this morning.

Uts and I are currently going over it, but I've found a little joke on the Mos Eisley spread. Right under point number six is a spacecraft that looks nearly identical to the Nostromo's shuttle Narcissus from Alien. :)

I just noticed that in the Emperor's recieving chamber on DSII, there's a blurb pointing out a "Wapoe, mythical Atrisian demigod of disguise".

This might be a bit of a stretch, but is this a sly reference to our own Wayne Poe?

Well, my first name's Robert, so there's one Bobby's reaction. Though I highly doubt I'm the Rob you're looking for... :P

Since I seem to recall Wayne's username on Spacebattles a while back being "Wayne A Poe," Wapoe is very likely a reference to W. A. Poe, especially given his costume work would make him a "demigod of disguise."

It's here!

First thing of note: look at the front cover flap on the inside - I don't remember any corridor like that.

Yes, about the Executor bridge tower. Dr. Saxton has some commentaries about the bridge towers on his site, is something interesting mentioned about the Executor's bridge tower (such as number of levels, functions etc.)?

The spread gives you a good idea of how many decks there are in the tower (I'd say there's somewhere around 30-35 decks in the main "head"), and it indicates areas such as officers' mess hall, admirals' quarters and such, but nothing in huge detail. Interesting nonetheless.

Honestly some really cool things of how Yoda's house works out.

I gotta wonder how it's sinking into the water(what Yoda turned off everything?)

Some other neat points is of coursew confirmation of the Executor and other tidbits.

With this, I really would love to see a spread on the Executor

I saw the book at Borders but I had already spent my free money on Dark Empire II... not to mention I now have to get Empire's End to finish the set. So I can't ge getting ITW any time soon, though I did sit and read it for at least an hour.

Don't strike me down for this, but I always did wonder where Daala's escape pod was launched from in Darksaber at the end battle, especially since the book didn't do a good job of describing her ready room. Thanks to ITW, I now know. :D

Dark Empire II and Empire's End? Jebus.

May I also recommend The Crystal Star and The Glove of Darth Vader? :P

Lot of KJA references in this, especially in the Cantina page.
What amazes me the most is this, from the Death Star section:
4) As had been confirmed during development of the original Death Star, construction advanced most efficiently when the working surface allowed for sufficient space for the greatest possible number of self-replicating construction droids. This was Moff Jerjerrod's justification for filling the station' sinterior in a piecemeal manner.
Not just Von Neumann style droid plants, Von Neumann style droids themselves. In other words, once you build one Death Star, you can continue to build more of them at an exponentially increasing rate, provided you can keep up the materials supply (which, by having some of these driods build shuttles and mine, you can do as well).

Holy Crap.

This system was mentioned in Destiny's Way. Except that it had to do with New Republic shipyards.

Also apparently the Sanctuary Moon is wildlife preserve.

Also some other points of the DSII...it's not a Synchronous orbit, and the ground station actually had a dual reason in the beginning. Apparently it moved it up into orbital position or at least kept it there.

Also the Throne Room Tower is capable of withstand up to Captial Ship level firepower.

Concerning the Battle of Hoth, I don't think that it indicates that Veer's destruction of the shield generator at a distance of "17.28" occured at only about five kilometers.

It seems that location where people are seeing the action is actually the Rebel retreat after the generator is destroyed.

Find number 10 on the map, and go straight up. You'll find a caption reading "Veers finally fires fatal blasts at Rebels' power generator" and it's pointing to a spot less than five miles from the generator.
This is either a mislabeling, or he was closer than we had hypothesized.
And you may ask yourself, 'Where does that highway go to?'
