If you honestly expect to see it at that distance, then you're a moron.

You're talking about trying to see something that's about an inch tall, half burried in other detail work, on a model that's about ten feet long.

There is simply no way that the army man or any details can be seen on Executor, because of all the distances and resolutions involved.

In addition to the fact that a lot of people here can't even see the goddamned thing when it's zoomed all the way in.

I thought you came to the conclusion that they couldn't have been guns, simply because they are arranged seemingly at random, with more bumpies on one side of the ship than on the other, something that doesn't make sense for gun encampments on a ship.

I did, which is why the logic I was talking about was refuting the "they nondescript studs" refutation, not the "they're positioned all wrong for guns" refutation.

Ah God that's funny!

Must be some giant Colossus. Probably some technician who got too close to a hypermatter reactor and just started growing. You know, from radiation. Then they gave him the Gamera treatment and launched him into space.

Devolution is quite as natural as evolution, and may be just as pleasing, or even a good deal more pleasing, to God. If the average man is made in God's image, then a man such as Beethoven or Aristotle is plainly superior to God, and so God may be jealous of him, and eager to see his superiority perish with his bodily frame.

Um, Bklbry, 18-Till already said he finally saw it only a couple of posts after he said that.

Not to mention no less than two pictures have been posted that circle/highlight the soldier, and not only were they done better, but they were politely done without inlining a 90k pic. All this was done days ago... Didn't your mother ever encourage you to read? :P

Anywho, my guess is he's for anti-fighter defense. He leans out and starts swatting at incoming ships.

Didn't see page 2 and 3 when I posted it.

Reading only the first 5-7 posts is not the best thing to do when you're going to post giant inlined pics to explain things that have already been explained, but reading 2 and 3 wouldn't have mattered since eveyrthing except the third pic was already on page one in the first place.

Bah, ok I didn't read all of page one either. Just too eager to be helpful I suppose.....

Well if it makes you feel any better, at least you didn't screw up my window and make it side-scroll.

Course, that's only because I've set my resolution over 1024x768. Wonder how anyone else is fairing...

I'm imagining taking a screen capture of a high-def version of the video, and zooming in really deep into it, and maybe seeing a blurry outline of it.

I doubt you can see it while the video is playing.

I wonder if I can steal a hi-def version of ROTJ from the Lucasarts lab...

At 1024x768, it just BARELY makes me have to scroll to the edge of the page, and none of the text crosses.

I feel sorry for 800x600's.
