This is utterly moronic. If faith gave you the "right perspective" in addressing important matters of state, and assuming that Bush's faith is the correct one, wouldn't everything be fine and dandy?

no partial credit for making the effort, especially in monumental fuckups like those that Bush has been tossing out.

Actually, this is true. There are plenty of dead-end jobs that pay far less than the cost of living, offer no benefits, and insult the qualifications of every American with a high-school diploma. These jobs go begging even in places with 25% unemployment and workers must be imported from Mexico to fill them.
Even 9-year-old Jonathan Frisby, who came from Mechanicsburg, Pa., with his grandmother, had an opinion.
“Kerry is going to raise taxes, and Bush will get us into wars we don’t belong in,” he said. “I’d vote for Bush, because I’d rather be in a war than spend a lot of money.”
That's a really dumb statement, but he's only a kid. There is still hope for this child, thanks to the public education system--which Bush is now fucking over and wants to dismantle. Hmm...
