Acclamator and Delta7 engines
The engines of Acclamator-class transport and Delta-7 Aethersprite Light interceptor starfighter have some structure just inside the thrust nozzle. What do think that thing is there for?

Re: Acclamator and Delta7 engines
Perhaps part of the thrust vectoring system.Lord Revan wrote:The engines of Acclamator-class transport and Delta-7 Aethersprite Light interceptor starfighter have some structure just inside the thrust nozzle. What do think that thing is there for?

yeah something like that, I just forgot that the text was there thanks.Quadlok wrote:Yes, both of these craft have structures at the end of the engines listed as being electromagnetic thrust vectorers (is that a word?) in the SW2ICS.

Excuse me, I erroniously thought this was one of Revan's stock threads.

Pictures?
Ep II ICS doesn't have a rear view of the Delta 7. But listed on the cutaway pointing directly to the engine is; Electromagnetic nozzle elements direct and pinch the relativistic thrusth stream.
On the Acclamator, the blurb pointing to the engine states; Eight electromagnetic thrust vectoring panels delflect exhaust particle streams to provide turning force.
Since the Delt 7 lists as a manufacturer; Kuat systems engineering, subsidary of Kuat Drive Yards....
the same parent company that builds the Acclamator, I have to believe that they use the same stock parts and even design principles.

They say, "the tree of liberty must be watered with the blood of tyrants and patriots." I suppose it never occurred to them that they are the tyrants, not the patriots. Those weapons are not being used to fight some kind of tyranny; they are bringing them to an event where people are getting together to talk. -Mike Wong
But as far as board culture in general, I do think that young male overaggression is a contributing factor to the general atmosphere of hostility. It's not SOS and the Mess throwing hand grenades all over the forum- Red

Yes, and don't forget that the thrust vectoring plates was part of the Imperator I design.Knife wrote:Pictures?
