Chemical Spill and Opportunistic Lawyers
A truck near my house tipped over this morning, spilling some monomethylamine on the ground because it was parked on unstable and ill-maintained concrete in a residential area. Around 2 PM, I saw a lawyer ambulance-chaser ad by one Michael Hingle on the air, only hours after the spill! That stupid opportunistic tasteless fuckhead. I knew lawyers had no sense of ethics, but this is ridiculous!

On the telly. It had clear and unmistakeable references to the chemical spill (which now is estimated at 5 gallons total) within the ad itself only a few hours after it happened. needless to say I almost blew all my gaskets as my sense of ethics was violated like a cheap whore...neel wrote:Where did you hear the ad? on the TV or Radio? I don't think the lawyer would have control over when the ad is played. It's the network that arranges the ads. It could have been a coincidence.

Something tells me that lack of ethics in lawyers is not a phenomena localized in the Lousiana area....Wicked Pilot wrote:I hope you would've gotten used to thatby now; you've lived in Louisiana how many years?Einhander Sn0m4n wrote:needless to say I almost blew all my gaskets as my sense of ethics was violated like a cheap whore...
Devolution is quite as natural as evolution, and may be just as pleasing, or even a good deal more pleasing, to God. If the average man is made in God's image, then a man such as Beethoven or Aristotle is plainly superior to God, and so God may be jealous of him, and eager to see his superiority perish with his bodily frame.

No, but we do pride ourselves on being on the bleeding edge of unethicalness. We're No 1 damnit!BlkbrryTheGreat wrote:Something tells me that lack of ethics in lawyers is not a phenomena localized in the Lousiana area....
The most basic assumption about the world is that it does not contradict itself.

Yet you're located deep within the ultra-religious bible belt. Oh, the delicious irony!Wicked Pilot wrote:No, but we do pride ourselves on being on the bleeding edge of unethicalness.
