Challenge to Mike Wong

Post by RayCav of ASVS »

Oh come on, you've got to be tired of pounding Trekkies and Fundies, right? So, howabout a different challenge.

You have Quake 3, right? Well, chances are you'd smoke my ass in 3 seconds, but I'm still challenging you :P

If you have any RTS games, that'd be good too, you'd still probably smoke my ass but I'm betting I'd last longer :D

Not to butt in, but an SD.net UT or Quake game would be cool, if someone got, say, a Barrysworld bookable server. Or something simple like Soldat, which is both good quality and freeware.

Mike, try Soldat. You might like it. I actually got Armagetron from reading your site, and I really enjoy that too.

UT is my game of choice, but I seldom play these days.

I thinking of downloading UT 2003 and seeing if I can get into the Screen Savers Lan Party.

I do have to agree, that a SD.net LanParty would be fun.

Little hard location wise and all for any sort of Lan Party

But as for FPS games, I have them all from MOHAA(Terrible terrible Multiplayer by todays standreds) to the many hundreds of HL mods

LAN party nothing, which is why I suggested a Barry's Bookable Server or something equivalent.

Battlefield 1942, baby. If we all hopped on an empty EA server, we could have oodles of fun. I could imagine Mike at the helm of of a battleship at Midway, playing "Ride of the Valkyries" as he mercilessly broadsides the enemy fleet. Good stuff.

Anybody is proficient at Doom with the cheat codes turned on. Even me . . . and my video gaming experience involves watching as my little character commits suicide the instant it realizes I'm in control.

I say we do a Trekkies vs. Warsies or Atheists vs. Theists game of Return to Castle Wolfenstein, on the Beach Invasion map, of course. :)

(Loads up Ride of the Valkyries and pretends to bombard shore.)
:P
But does it really have an MP3 feature like in GTA 3?

Negatory. But you can play MP3s in your player whilst the game is on. Just set Ride of the Valkyries in a loop, wear your aviator goggles, and scream "IT'S ON, BITCH!" and you're all set.
