Once you've pressed prtSc, alttab out of SMAC, open Paint, then paste. You should have the screenshot.

Then find a host and upload.

That's standard for a fully patched game, don't worry about it. Add the following line to the game's .ini file (Right at the top, under the preferences header) and everything will work perfectly. You'll still get the message, but you can just hit ok and pass it.

ForceOldVoxelAlgorithm=1

Yup, looks like I've got it. Will take a look sometime after Lunch.

Known bug for some new sound cards. Should've been fixed in the XP patch I though though, was for my card at least.

god, its annoying.

how do I fix it?

and, Ive declared war on gaia, sparta, and believers. conquerd my continent, with a steady airforce, but my suppliers are getting smashed. I think Ive a good chance of winning, I can produce a lot faster.

kind of weird that I dont think much of a problem challenging 3 npc empires. .. or all 6.

still, I wish I knew how to do better. no trade, no planetary leader, and I only got airpower at 2220. ..

There might be a fix on the Apolyton forums for it, so I'd advise looking there.

I might play a full game sometime soon, so if you like, I could send you a zip file of every turn. Not sure how much help it'd be just watching me, but I guess you never know.

The fundies were the first to fall under my iron peacekeeping boot. I do hope Merriam is enjoying her punishment sphere. The war against the Hive is proceeding smoothly as well, just a few more towns and then they'll all be mine. On a suprising note, Morgan has decided to break our treaty. Prepare yourself Morgan, for you've been added to the list, right after Cha Dawn that tree hugging little shit that keeps harrassing my ships. The lesson is simple people, this United Nations doesn't take shit from anyone.

tis fun.

in the game that shut down, I made an alliance with peacekeepers, truce with zak and hive, and war with gaia. everyone else was dead, with hive holding 75% of the continent - I messed with the file so they love growth.

so then they get nasty and destroy one of my formers. what a surprise, I had 15 shard choppers on my border with 3 drop troops, waiting. I take 5 cities that round, and progress another 2-3 every round afterwards, giving all the old cities to peacekeepers. their population was down a bit tho - I made them all thinkers to give me a boost.

so I finally reach gaia, do the same, and I keep all the cities with secret projects. un is massive, but cant afford garrisons, so fights off hive for another 20 turns before finishing them off. its me and un vs zak and gaia, they beg truce, and declare war once I start voice of planet.

thats when the game shut down.

I played my best game ever a few days ago. In the vote for Supreme Leader I had 2200 votes. Everyone else on Planet had a total of maybe 700.
