White House to work with McCain condemning Ads

I just saw something on FOX News saying that the White House is now going to work with McCain in pursuing some kind of legal action against "shadowy ads." Is this what democrats want finally perhaps?

...god, this whole political war just pisses me off. Whatever happened to winning an election based on your policies, present or planned, and on your strength of character. The election isn't for over two months and there's already another lawsuit in the wings.

As for that swift boat group, they're just vietnam vets who don't like Kerry. They served with Kerry. Huh uh. None of them actually served under Kerry's command. They were swift boat captains and crew in Vietnam at the same time Kerry was and they may have seen him during a briefing or two. Why can't politicians and specifically Republicans stop lying and telling mistruths.

Swift boats worked in groups. The men dogging Kerry may not have been on his boat, but they were with him on the missions and were in positions to observe him in action. They saw him much more often than a 'briefing or two'.

Now as to whether or not they're telling the truth is a different story, but given Kerry's penchant for lies and exaggeration (such as claiming to be in Vietnam when MLK was shot and being in Cambodia), I suspect the old saw about the truth being somewhere in the middle applies here.

The Republicans certainly have no monopoly on lies and mistruths. Just look at how Kerry is running away from, instead of on, his decades long record in the Senate. Or the not so hidden links between the liberal 627's and the DNC. Let's not forget the hatchet job that Kerry engineered through surrogates on Howard Dean during the primaries.

Both parties are full of expert spin doctors and liars. You forget that at your peril.

Yeah, swift boats work in groups. Too bad most (all?) of these guys weren't even in his group! I know its comedy and not to be taken seriously, but you gotta love the John Stewart quote: "They served with Kerry the way Snoopy served with the Red Baron."

And while the Dems are not guiltless when it comes to lying, the Republicans tend to be much worse. Mentioning Karl Rove makes most Americans shudder and hide. Although I am still pissed at Kerry for killing Dean.

Speaking of lies, I will believe Bush is shutting down 527s once they are gone and not a second before. I am positive this is another example of Bush saying he will go after the bad guys to up his ratings, then just never doing it after everyone likes him. The only real "compassionate conservative?" McCain. Bush is a phony with a bigger publicity staff than policy staff.

I admit, I get most of my facts about this particular contorversy from America's #1 fake news show. I hate this whole damn thing... its irrelevant and ugly. Issues, people. ISSUES!

I have a photograph of my mother, brother and myself with my father, who was in the Special Forces. That doesn't mean I know if he earned his medals or not, nor was I jumping out of C-130s over Indochina -unless Pampers had diapers that doubled as parachutes.

I have a photo of me standing next to keyboardist Mike Pinder. I am not one of the Moody Blues.

Just because people appear in a photo together doesn't mean they live or work together. It also doesn't mean that one "knows" what the others did unless he saw it for himself.
