Haha, thanks, but I don't do anything more than point and shoot. :-P Those are 6 lucky good pictures out of more than a thousand I took in Hawaii.

From the cockpit of a PA-28-181 Archer. I got checked out in the aircraft during a week long visit to the city back in 2002. I was hoping to take it up and explore Vancouver also, but weather during my stay dictated otherwise.

No, but I wish. How can one not love the city that brought us Boeing, Starbucks, and grunge?

I'm sure if I liked trains I would enjoy those. You should think about adding a little more character to your photos.

You should have expected that. Vancouver has horrible weather. It's the same drizzly overcast medium-temperature crap all year round. You can take a Vancouver weather report from February, broadcast it in August, and nobody will know the difference.

Basic picture of the front garden, using the afternoon sun for a lens-flare effect.

A picture of the morning sky, taken from the backyard with a digital video camera with only a mere 1 megapixel digital photo shooting, hence the crappy look compared to the other picture (which was shoot with decent 35mm film and scanned off the developed picture).

I don't think this is a really good picture, and I'm not directly responsible for it (I only gave directions on what do do), but it's still relatively cool...

I could have sworn I commented on your work.

InnerBrat: I like the fact you focus on nature (good for sharpening a skill) and you have a very good eye for composition and colour.

I thought Drago was asking you...

Anyway. No, I'm not a professional photographer, it's just hobby. There are people out there billions and billions of times better than I and I could never make money on it.

And as for the nominating I have no idea. I didn't start this thread.

SoX: I really like both of your pictures, they're very interesting subject matter and they look wonderful.

Paul Skahyn: The first two are infuckingcredible. The first especially, it's just amazing. Where did you take that?

I'm totally digging the shot from 1984. It's got a certain dynamic about it that I can't put my finger on. Tres magnifique.

I wish I had my pics that I took when I was in Ireland, but sadly that entire envelope of photos just vanished.
