I have a crusier group orbiting Ix'gal that's it. Rogue has more, but we're planning a pullout soon.

The Striker was the very first ship of its class. A new variation of the modular frigate technology used by the Confederation that had transformed the Striker from a escort frigate into a strike frigate. As a result of the changes, it carried a firepower several times greater than before which coupled with an increased maneuverability turned it into a very dangerous foe for bigger warships, in spite of the loss of shielding.

Murazor, congratulations you've now created an absolute paper-clad. Modular or not you've pretty much sacrificed all your defense to get speed and power. Unless you plan on using them as swarms they aren't going to be that effective because they're going to get killed easily.

As a note the Wulfen II isn't that different from the original; the basic design after all is two decades old. They just incorporate advanced tech as standard that had to be backfitted to the orginals as the product line prior to recently was a slow and steady one. Just more missle directors, a few ECM tweaks and some other incremental improvements to various systems.

That all of you are introducing new ship classes like mad is only proof that your initial designs were worthless and imperfect, as are your navies...

The Etern's industrial power for the next few months is dedicated to bringing the level of technology of it's new protectorates up to par with Known Space. Hospitals and advanced agriculture tech are the first to be proliferated.

Entirely accurate. I recommend fiuelding only limited fleets against me, anything more than that would be a waste.

Yes, because obviously there is no distinction between new ships and new ship designs.

Frankly, it's going to be closer to years (at least if you're sticking to anything close to reality).

Yes, it will. Literally we're starting by dropping pre-fab hospitals and hydroponics to the surface, and THEN trying to start education of the next generation. However, by exploiting my nation's self-contained industry, we will have minor gains from this in the next year or five.

Realistically, I wonder why he's getting to just grab 24 worlds like this. But hey, I'm just an idealistic nice democracy here.

And the point goes SAILING over another person's head. I in fact posted the reason why in this very thread. People have selective memories around here.

I know why you're doing it. I'm wondering why it's being allowed in game, much less out of it.

If it bugs you, or bugs your government, oppose it in-game. The UP and the Asgard are trying to do so, as of my last assessment of the situation.

Easy: No one is stopping me. I could declare myself God-King of Nashtar, but I'd presume you'd try to stop me. No one can do anything here because they'd be proven to be hypocritical.

The Asgard and UP are talking about it, but thus far nothing but a vague waving of fingers. What, your one assassin think he can stop it?

This is a free lesson from a more experience player to a n00b:

If you don't want some one to get away with it, you have to do something about it. OOC carping isn't going to be too effective.

It's happening because you aren't getting off your ass and doing something about it! You might have noted that it worked in the case of Tortuga. And hell, you might wish to organize with those that feel like wise. It works wonders I'll tell you.

Right now you're playing Neville Chamberlain (or perhaps the Head Frog) to Nitram's Hitler. If you're looking to stop him, start doing something about it. Even if you don't want to go to war start flexing some diplomatic muscle or something.

I swear I've never seen a group so timid. :banghead:

You should see the ASVS STGOD. There hasn't been a war in about three years.

Infact I actually created two different powers, then had one go to war with the other and start annexing it. No one stopped me, in the end I had a power that was twice as big as anyone else's and we were still on good relations with the rest of the galaxy.
