Good god, the Bush twins look hot tonight, but this is painful to watch. Ugh.

Arnolds speech was actually pretty good....and he managed to throw
some UN bashing in mehehehe

Scary how the crowd every so often breaks into chants of "4 more years!"

I thought Arnold's speech wasn't as good as it could have been. It seemed he threw a lot of "style over substance" shit out in the first half of his speech. With stupid ass catch phrases and Arnold-isms. "We can terminate Terrorism." I actually laughed out loud at that part.

I also though it was great that Arnold said he became a Republican because of Nixon.

I thought of the perfect campaign commercial for the Democrats, all courtesy of the GOP:

Simply play EVERY instance of the Republicans saying "We're not safe" over and over again for 30 seconds straight.

The ending clip:

"Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we." - George W. Bush
"Carriers dispense fighters, which dispense assbeatings." - White Haven

Everyone so far is correct, it's nothing but a fap-fest. I've never, ever, in the entire span of my existence seen such a blatant stroke off. And you konw what? Americans in general are just stupid enough to fall for this garbage. Not one single real issue has been addressed so far. It's like a damned high-school pep rally...and about as substantive.
*didn't see, but I'll catch it on replay*

However, what did you expect. Conventions are a Fap-fest. Truely, I can't see how anyone would have expected any substance in these things.
They say, "the tree of liberty must be watered with the blood of tyrants and patriots." I suppose it never occurred to them that they are the tyrants, not the patriots. Those weapons are not being used to fight some kind of tyranny; they are bringing them to an event where people are getting together to talk. -Mike Wong

But as far as board culture in general, I do think that young male overaggression is a contributing factor to the general atmosphere of hostility. It's not SOS and the Mess throwing hand grenades all over the forum- Red

What's scary is the way they're trumpeting broken promises (such as the "No Child Left Behind" Act) as evidence of Bush's compassionate conservatism. They're banking on the fact that many Americans will just hear the cool buzzwords and grandiose plans and assume that Shrubby actually carried through on those promises instead of providing only a small fraction of the money that was necessary to pay for the obligations he dumped in the laps of the country's schools.

Look at this monstrosity:

Scott LoBaido stands with his painting, part of an exhibit meant to show GOPers some NYC artists support them

Good to know that political art is still complete and utter shit.

I caught a few minutes of the RNC, and I must say that for party as strongly anti gay as they get, the Republicans sure have been engaging in a massive amount of cocksucking.

Arnold's speech wasn't what I expected. He said what the crowd wanted to hear. I still respect him for his moderate stand in the party.

I was disgusted by McCain but at the same time felt sorry for him. I honestly don;t think he's as strong a Bush supporter as he's playing at. He IS a loyal Republican soldier and is doing what it takes for his party to win. The two Republicans who I respected the most: Rudy and McCain made me want to cry to see them turn into this fucking cocksuck fest. Though Rudy truly pissed me off particularly with this gem:

"Sadaam Hussein himself was a weapon of mass destruction."

Fucking asshole.

Yeah, I wish he would just admit that he's become disgusted with the fundamentalism and just plain low-blow behaviour of the Republican Party. He could do a lot to help clean that up if he tried; there are a lot of moderates that would support him.

As far as I'm concerned, McCain can suck Bush's cock all he likes at the convention if it means Bush and his allies have to return the favor to McCain in the Senate.

This is how politics works, folks. We'd all love McCain to say, "George W. Bush is an incompetent jerkoff and I'm sure as hell not voting for him", but McCain is a hell of a lot less useful if he gives his party an excuse to shove him in corner and leave him there.

Is it me or are the women in the RNC prettier on average than the ones in the DNC? I've spotted quite a few hotties as the camera pans across the crowds.

You know someone once said had Gore won and the attacks happened, Fox news would have had a counter showing how many days since the attacks that Bin Laden hasn't been captured.
